Happy Thanksgiving!
Shout out to Timmie Grace, Ashton Gaspard, and Aiden Reed. These three band students got to sign the Golden Axe because all week they had great attitudes, they were well behaved, and they worked hard preparing for our Christmas Concert on Thursday, December 12th.
On Thursday, November 14, GHS had their 2024 Senior Beta Induction ceremony. Congratulations to all our new Senior Beta members, and congratulations to this year's Senior Beta officers:

Fine arts students visited the Gueydan museum and decorated the GHS Christmas tree today. We followed the trip up with a visit to Johnny’s for ice cream.
Today, our students were able to participate in the Pathways to Success program. Students listened to speakers from around the world talk to them about their lives, how they navigated the same trials our students now face, and how they were able to become successful adults that now give back to their communities.
